Rodney Barganier is a Partner with the law firm of Barganier Law Group, LLC, Birmingham, Alabama, where he specializes in the areas of products liability, work place injuries, road/highway design matters, injuries to children involving recreational/playground equipment and other cases involving personal injury and wrongful death.
Mr. Barganier obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree (History) from Birmingham-Southern College, and his law degree from Miles College School of Law, Birmingham, Alabama. In addition to being a graduate of Miles College School of Law, Mr. Barganier is an adjunct Professor with the Law School where he previously taught Torts for over a decade.
Mr. Barganier is a member of the Alabama State Bar; Magic City Bar Association ; Birmingham Bar Association; National Bar Association (NBA); Alabama Lawyers Association (NBA Affiliate Chapter);and Alabama Association of Justice. Mr. Barganier is a Past-President of the Magic City Bar. He is also a Past-President of his NBA Affiliate, Alabama Lawyers Association. Mr. Barganier also served twice as Regional Director for National Bar’s Region XI.
In addition to being a member of the Birmingham Bar, Mr. Barganier has served on the Birmingham Volunteer Lawyers Program’s (VLP) Board. In 2014, Mr. Barganier was named to the Legal Aid Society of Birmingham’s board and served as Board President in 2018. Mr. Barganier was elected to the Birmingham Bar Association’s Executive Committee Board in 2015.
In 2017, the National Bar Association’s Small Firm/Solo Practitioners’ Division honored Mr. Barganier with its Esquire Award. During 2012, Mr. Barganier was named as an “Attorney on the Rise” by B-Metro, Birmingham magazine. In 2011, Mr. Barganier was named as a “Top 40 Attorneys under 40” by the National Bar Association/Impact.
Rodney Barganier is married to LaShaunda M. Barganier and has two daughters, Tyra and Taylar. He resides in Pleasant Grove, Alabama.
