Dr. Jamyce Curtis Banks, Founder and CEO of Whatever It Takes Consulting, Inc. is an experienced organizational consultant providing interactive learning and training for over 25 years, including 15 years of leadership experience. She provides effective, customized professional development workshops and trainings that are highly engaging and has been a workshop presenter and keynote speaker at the local, state and national levels on topics related to organizational development including diversity, inclusion, unconscious bias, cultural competence, and leadership development.
Dr. Banks established Whatever It Takes, Inc., (WIT) a certified minority and women owned business enterprise, to provide customized learning support to organizations including strategic planning, board training, leadership coaching, collaborative team development, organizational performance evaluation and support for the development of culturally responsive individuals and work environments. She is certified to provide support in the development of culturally responsive environments, as a facilitator for Cultural Intelligence (CQ) through the Cultural Intelligence Center. She serves as Adjunct Faculty at IUPUI.
Dr. Banks has been recognized for her leadership and accomplishment as the recipient of awards including the Pass The Torch for Women 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year, the Independent Colleges Realizing the Dream Award, the Human Rights Award for Outstanding Leadership and the Center for Leadership Development Distinguished Achievement Award as well as recognition at the YWCA Salute to Women of Achievement. She serves and leads in a number of professional organizations including the Board of Directors of the Diversity Roundtable of Central Indiana, the 500 Circle of Pass The Torch For Women, Secretary of the Omega Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International Society, the Board of Directors of the I CAN Schools – Indiana, and local and national positions in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
